The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679 is a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy for all individuals within the European Union. In order to comply with the GDPR we are writing regarding the data we hold about you.
1. We hold the email addresses of people who have asked to be included on our mailing list to receive information abut the School of Sound and related activities. Our mailings also include information about a small number of other organisations who work with us and who we believe may be of interest to you.
We also hold the emails of people or organisations who may not have asked to subscribe but who we contacted for marketing purposes and who we believe to have a legitimate interest in sound and the related topics we address.
2. For those who have attended a School of Sound event, we hold their name, job title, city of residence, and email address. Delegates have the option of being included, or not, on that event’s delegate list to be shared with only other people attending that event. For emergency use only, and for our own private use, we hold the telephone numbers of those attending a School of Sound event.
We never share, give or sell this information to third parties.
