Registration and Fees


Below are instructions for registration and payment for the SOS.

To register places for the SOS, please complete the accompanying form. Upon receipt of the form and payment we will send you a receipt.


FEES

Professional:
£400.00 + 20% VAT = £ 480.00

Full-time Student:
£220.00 + 20% VAT = £ 264.00

Each fee includes:
– a place for all sessions over the four days
– drinks receptions on the first and last nights
– and coffee/tea during morning and afternoon breaks

Places are sold only for all four days of the Symposium. Places for individual sessions are not available.
Tickets for the evening events must be purchased separately from the Southbank Centre ticket office. See the Programme page for links.
Students must provide proof of full-time student registration.

 

Bursaries for UK Freelancers
UK professionals with relevant experience may be able to apply to Creative Skillset for financial assistance to attend the School of Sound, subject to availability. If you intend to apply, please contact the School of Sound and we will provide you with a letter confirming your place. Please read their guidelines carefully.  At the  moment funding is available as follows:

The Creative Skillset Diversity Fund (England) provides funding for training for employees and freelancers residing in England who are under-represented in the workforce, and can show they have worked in a paid, professional capacity over at least one year in the creative industries. Individuals working in games, advertising, radio, animation, interactive media, facilities,TV and film are eligible to apply.

Grants are available to individuals from at least one of the following under-represented groups: women, disabled, black, Asian and non-white minority ethnic (BAME). Lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) individuals who belong to these groups are equally eligible.

Payment can be made by PayPal, Cheque, Bank Draft, BACS or Interbank Transfers. Please note that Paypal fees include Paypal service charges (approximately 4%).
