Travel 2017

The cheapest and often quickest way to get around central London is to walk. The distances are really quite short; for example,
Regent’s Park to Soho is just 1.4 miles and to the Southbank Centre is just 4 miles. Marble Arch to St Paul’s is 3.3 miles.

Getting from Baker Street Underground (Tube) Station to Regent’s University

By London Underground (Tube)
The nearest Underground station is Baker Street, located at the corner of Marylebone Road and Baker Street.

These bus routes serve Baker Street Station

There are two exits from Baker Street Station, one on Marylebone Road (A) and the other on Baker Street.
You can walk around to the left or right. Both routes take about 10 minutes by foot.

The easiest route:
Exit the station via the Marylebone Road exit. Turn left (or ‘right’ as you look at the map) and walk past Madame Tussauds to York Gate on your left.
Turn left into York Gate. Continue over the bridge into the park. The University entrance is on the left.

The more picturesque route:
Exit the station via the Baker Street exit. Turn right and walk along Baker Street, past the Sherlock Holmes Museum and past Allsop Place.
Turn right at the next corner, cross at the traffic lights and enter Regent’s Park.
Cross the footbridge over the Boating Lake and follow the path around to the left.
Turn right when you reach the Inner Circle. The entrance is on your right.

You cannot enter Regent’s University from the back entrance.
